Treasury Analyst

ROLE OUTLINE:

Typically reporting to the CFO or Treasury Manager, the Treasury Analyst is responsible for managing the organisation's treasury function cash flow and analytics, dealing with the business data.

TYPICAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To efficiently review and measure the rolling cash forecast, the movements, with a keen understanding of the company budgets. The duties include but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with management teams of the Business Units and the Finance function to manage group liquidity, including efficient short-term cash management

  • Ownership and optimisation of the 13-week short-term cash forecast, variance analysis and liquidity reporting

  • Support the development and implementation of the financial risk management strategy, including execution of financial market transactions

  • Bank engagement and relationship management

  • Management of the trade finance portfolio, including LC discounting

  • Optimise Treasury transaction costs

  • Deliver Treasury reporting and drive opportunities for continuous improvement

  • Support Treasury long-term forecasting, budgeting and audit requirements
