Finance Business Partner

helps develop, implement and measure the success of its strategic goals. The focus of the role is to help ensure projects achieve or exceed their as-sold margins, that direct overhead costs are managed in line with budget and ensures accurate budgeting and forecasting.

Partners with business unit managers to drive improvement in profitability and mitigates risk through detailed financial and business analysis.

  • Oversees the management and development of the operational finance team and Project Accountants.

  • Provide input to and review bid commercials and cash flows to help ensure target margins and EBITs are achieved and projects are cash flow positive as soon as they can be.

  • Ensures monthly project results are accurate and reflect the appropriate accounting standards.

  • Attend contract assessment and project reviews to provide support from a financial perspective.

  • Oversee the preparation of the monthly business unit reporting packs including variance analysis against budget and forecast.

  • Business unit KPI reporting and interpretation as leading and lagging indicators of financial performance.

Creates and maintains a work environment that attracts and retains world class financial talent, through focus on recruitment, coaching, development and succession planning of all staff.

Management Accountant

Typical duties will involve:

  • Balance sheet reporting

  • Monthly P&L reporting

  • Variance analysis and commentary

  • Budgeting and forecasting

  • General ledger reconciliation

  • Management and review of cashflow

  • Month-end preparation

Bookkeeper

Typical duties will involve:

  • Bank account management and reconciliation;
